Charles Pazos Director Elias Ribeiro Producer Andrew Shwartz Assistant Editor Jordan Farino Production Assistant Roman C Production Assistant Sharon Raye as Red Cerontie Wright as Hal Potts Michael Christin as Guile Log: 7:00 August 1st- I meet with the producer who I met online to go to the meeting and get the concept. 8:00- We learn it needs to be a horror film. 9:00- We get the equipment. We make the crew call at 5:30 in the AM (!). 10:30- I get home to write a script,and make storyboards. I realize that a 5:30am crew call is insane. Crew call now at 12:30pm. SATURDAY 4:45- Sleep. 9:00- Wake up, make sure everything is ready for the shoot. 12:30- Crew call. Everyone is in a good mood, which was important. Im sure that would not have been the case at 6am. 1:00- We shoot the bedroom scene first. The actors are really having fun with it. Noone is being uptght... everything going well. 3:30- Andrew comes through with bloodworks. 4:00- Im losing my mind. I take a step back and let Elias shoot the next scenes while I chill a little and supervise. 5:00- Scene with Michael and Sharon. They need a little time warming up but do a great job. 1st location had issues so we moved it. Im doing reflector work now while I get my mind right. Jordan on boom. 7:30- Scene with Charontie and Sharon- They nail it from the get go, Im surprised by the range Sharon is giving us while Charontie is onpoint, giving us a hesitative, unorthodox style that impresses. Jordan does a good job with the boom. 8:30- Shooting wraps up. 10:00- Digitization complete. 10:30- Dinner time. Excellent cooking by Elias. 11:30- Me and Andrew sit down and put in work. We edit the first few scenes. A bottle of Vodka appears. SUNDAY 3:30- The Vodka is taking effect. Andrew still putting in alot of work on the early edits, getting everything ready for me to take over in the morning. I color-correct everything in AE. 9:00- Im up with a boost thanks to the earlier Vodka and some breakfast provided by Elias again (good cooking again).. 12:00- Still editing, things still are not shaping up.... pressures on.... 4:00- Things are shaping up but there is still not enough time.... 5:30- Edit is finally coming together... color correction is implemented...adding soundtrack... 7:00- We gotta wrap it up, tweaking the sound ...still looks offf.... oh well gotta cut it off. 7:30- Delivery at Starbucks. Game Over. |
